**Madurai, January 26, 2025** – Water levels in key Tamil Nadu dams remain stable, according to the latest reports. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 121.60 feet on Sunday, below its maximum permissible level of 142 feet. Despite a higher discharge (667 cusecs) than inflow (329 cusecs), levels remain within acceptable limits. Similarly, the Vaigai dam recorded a level of 65.16 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 419 cusecs and a discharge of 719 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit stands at 4,851.11 units.
