**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Akshay Kumar’s latest film, “Sky Force,” is proving to be a box office success, exceeding expectations after a string of flops for the actor. The film, a real-life story directed by Sandeep Kewlani, reportedly made over ₹21.50 crore (approximately $2.6 million USD) on its second day, significantly surpassing its opening day collection of ₹12.25 crore (approximately $1.5 million USD). This brings the film’s two-day total to ₹33.75 crore (approximately $4.1 million USD).

The film marks the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahadiya, who has garnered praise for his performance. “Sky Force,” which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, has outperformed other recent releases including Kangana Ranaut’s “Emergency” and Ajay Devgn’s “Azaad,” both released earlier in January. “Emergency” has grossed ₹15.55 crore and “Azaad” ₹14.65 crore to date.

Despite a reported budget of ₹160 crore (approximately $19.5 million USD), “Sky Force’s” strong performance suggests it is well on its way to becoming a box office hit, potentially ending a run of unsuccessful films for Akshay Kumar. Early projections indicate the film could achieve substantial profitability.
