**Madurai, January 26, 2025** – A three-member search committee has been formed to recommend candidates for the Vice-Chancellor position at Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). The committee, announced on Sunday, comprises K. Pichumani (Chancellor’s nominee) as convenor, K. Jothi Sivagnanam (Syndicate nominee), and K.A. Manikumar (Senate nominee). The committee will submit a panel of three names with their biographies to the Tamil Nadu Governor, who serves as the Chancellor of MKU, for the final appointment.
