**Madurai, India (January 27, 2025)** – Madurai Airport, hospitals, educational institutions, and various trade bodies across the city joined in celebrating India’s 76th Republic Day on Sunday with enthusiastic patriotic events.

The national flag was hoisted at several key locations. Madurai Airport Director P. Muthukumar led the ceremony at the airport, while Government Rajaji Hospital Dean L. Arul Sundaresh Kumar hoisted the flag at the hospital. At Madurai Kamaraj University, Registrar M. Ramakrishnan performed the flag-hoisting ceremony. Representatives from the Agrofood Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry also participated in similar events at their respective premises. The celebrations were marked by a strong display of national pride throughout the city.
