**New Delhi, January 26, 2025** – The 76th Republic Day parade witnessed a historic and emotional moment as Indonesia’s military contingent made its debut, captivating the audience with a disciplined and impressive march. The 152-member contingent, representing all branches of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), including a 190-member ensemble band from the Indonesian Military Academy (Akmil), received a standing ovation from all ministers of the Modi government.
This marked the first time an Indonesian military contingent participated in India’s Republic Day celebrations. Their performance, embodying the Indonesian motto “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” (Unity in Diversity), showcased impeccable discipline and unity, leaving the spectators mesmerized.
