Sun Jan 26 00:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Reds Reverse Course, Stick with FanDuel for 2025 Local Broadcasts

**Cincinnati, OH** – The Cincinnati Reds will continue their local television broadcasts with FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports Ohio) for the 2025 season, the team announced Monday. This marks a reversal from November’s plan to partner with MLB Media.

The one-year deal keeps Reds games on the same channel for fans, including regular season games (excluding nationally televised matchups) and select Spring Training games. The broadcasts will also feature the familiar pre- and post-game shows. Fans can access games via cable/satellite providers, and through a direct-to-consumer streaming option on the FanDuel Sports Network app, with subscription details to be announced soon.

Reds COO and CFO Doug Healy stated that the team remained in contact with Main Street Sports (the rebranded Diamond Sports Group) and ultimately chose to re-engage due to improved financial terms. He praised MLB Media as a “great partner” but highlighted the enhanced economic benefits of the FanDuel deal, which will positively impact the team’s payroll and roster flexibility. President of baseball operations Nick Krall indicated this increased flexibility will allow for further roster improvements.

While the on-air talent is expected to remain largely the same, final contracts are pending. Healy emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity for fans.

David DeVoe, COO and CFO of Main Street Sports, expressed enthusiasm for continuing the partnership and delivering high-quality viewing options. The deal follows a similar reversal by the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Reds’ long-term plan, however, still involves partnering with MLB Media, which Healy anticipates as the future of baseball broadcasts due to its capabilities across various platforms. For 2025, though, Cincinnati fans will find their Reds games where they’ve always been.
