Sun Jan 26 05:20:00 IST 2025: ## Blues Bolduc Back in Top Six for Saturday Showdown with Stars

**St. Louis, MO** – Zack Bolduc will return to the St. Louis Blues’ lineup Saturday night, slotting into a top-six forward role alongside Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich for their game against the Dallas Stars at Enterprise Center. Head Coach Jim Montgomery announced the lineup change, noting that Nathan Walker will be a healthy scratch.

“It’s a great opportunity for him, and a great opportunity for that line to create more offense,” Montgomery said.

Bolduc, 21, is in his first full NHL season after playing 25 games last year. While he’s seen inconsistent ice time, he’s used the experience as a learning opportunity, observing veteran players and working closely with the coaching staff on video analysis. He’s also benefited from mentorship from former Blues player and Stanley Cup champion, Alexander Steen, who spent time with Bolduc during Thursday’s game, reviewing plays and offering advice.

“The point of view is different for sure,” Bolduc said. “You see stuff and you try to learn watching the game upstairs… it helped me, and I’m still working a lot with the coaches and doing video.”

Bolduc aims to bring an offensive spark to the top line, emphasizing a fast-paced approach and capitalizing on the playmaking abilities of Thomas and Buchnevich. “Try to play my game… Just got to skate and play fast,” he stated. “I’m playing with two great playmakers, so I’ve got to be ready to shoot every time I’m on the ice.”

The Blues’ defensive pairings remain unchanged, and Jordan Binnington is slated to start in goal. The full forward lines for Saturday’s game are:

* Dylan Holloway – Brayden Schenn – Jordan Kyrou
* Pavel Buchnevich – Robert Thomas – Zack Bolduc
* Brandon Saad – Oskar Sundqvist – Jake Neighbours
* Alexey Toropchenko – Radek Faksa – Mathieu Joseph

The game begins at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network and 101 ESPN.
