The incident occurred during a public address by Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge at the District Armed Reserved (DAR) Police Grounds on Sunday.
Police officers forcefully removed microphones belonging to several television news channels that had been placed on the podium in front of the minister. This action sparked heated arguments between the police and cameramen, briefly disrupting Minister Kharge’s speech.
Following the altercation, Minister Kharge expressed regret over the incident and assured the media that he would reprimand the officers involved and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
