Sun Jan 26 21:13:51 IST 2025: ## Over 30,000 Attend Grand Republic Day Celebration at Alva’s Education Foundation

**Moodbidri, Karnataka, January 26, 2025** – More than 30,000 people gathered at Alva’s Education Foundation in Moodbidri today to celebrate India’s 76th Republic Day. The event featured a vibrant display of patriotism, including patriotic decorations and performances of the national anthems.

Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraja Horatti presided over the flag hoisting ceremony. In his address, Mr. Horatti stressed the importance of upholding constitutional rights and duties, praising Alva’s Education Foundation for its commitment to both academic excellence and cultural enrichment. He urged students to remember the sacrifices of their parents and the guidance of their teachers. He also paid tribute to B.R. Ambedkar for his pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution.

The celebration included the participation of over 300 retired and serving soldiers, along with 2170 Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers, and NCC cadets. Other dignitaries in attendance included Alva’s Education Foundation Chairman M. Mohan Alva, Bharat Scouts and Guides Karnataka State Chief Commissioner P.G.R. Scindia, former Minister K.
