**Ahmedabad, India –** British rock band Coldplay shattered their own attendance record on Saturday, delivering a monumental performance to over 100,000 fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The show, described by the band on X as their “biggest ever concert,” marked their debut in the city and was a resounding success, generating immense excitement on social media.

Coldplay’s official X account shared images from the electrifying performance, expressing their gratitude to the Ahmedabad audience and announcing a second, equally massive concert scheduled for Sunday. This second show will be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar for Indian viewers, coinciding with Republic Day.

The band further engaged with their Indian fans by referencing popular cricket, playfully drawing a cricket ball on social media and referencing Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling prowess – a playful continuation of their cricket-themed interactions during their recent Mumbai concerts.

Security for the event was exceptionally tight, with 3,825 police officers and a National Security Guard team deployed to ensure the safety of the massive crowd at the world’s largest cricket stadium.
