**Mysuru, January 26, 2025** – Bhaskar Kalale, chairman of EqualizeRCM – India, has been elected as the new president of TiE Mysuru for the 2025-26 term. The handover ceremony, held on January 24th, saw outgoing president Mahesh Rao pass the torch to Kalale. The new board comprises experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
The event also included a masterclass on entrepreneurship by Kiran Bettadapur, covering topics such as creative disruption and value creation. Over 120 TiE Mysuru members attended.
TiE Mysuru reported a successful 2024, hosting 12 events that drew over 2,000 entrepreneurs and startups. Their university initiative, the only one in Karnataka, received 70 applications from 31 educational institutions across 11 districts. The chapter awarded ₹3 lakh in cash prizes and ₹3 lakh worth of memberships to student startups, along with mentorship opportunities. Furthermore, TiE Mysuru co-hosted the TiE Global Summit 2024 in Mysuru, attracting over 800 entrepreneurs globally. The organization’s continued growth and support for entrepreneurship in the region were highlighted in the announcement.
