**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – January 26, 2025** – A joint operation by the Vijayawada Task Force and police resulted in the arrest of 12 individuals allegedly involved in the peddling and consumption of ganja (cannabis). The arrests, made across Governorpet, Gunadala, and Satyanarayanapuram police station limits, followed raids conducted late last night.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Task Force A. Srinivas Rao, the accused were acquiring ganja from intermediaries in the Agency villages and distributing and using it in Vijayawada and surrounding areas. The investigation is ongoing.
