Varma’s 55-ball knock, featuring four boundaries and five sixes, was the cornerstone of India’s win, especially after a top-order collapse. He remained undefeated, anchoring the innings and guiding his team to victory.
While Ravi Bishnoi didn’t take any wickets (giving away 27 runs in 4 overs), his crucial unbeaten 9-run partnership with Varma provided much-needed stability at the end. Bishnoi also contributed two boundaries.
