**Vijayawada, January 25, 2025** – Dr. Kamani Srinivasa Rao, Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry at the NTR Veterinary Super Specialty Hospital in Vijayawada, will be honored with the ‘Uttama Seva Pratibha’ award on January 26th. The award recognizes outstanding service by government officials.
Dr. Rao’s contributions include performing over 2,300 major surgeries on a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. He has also played a key role in educating veterinary specialists across the state. This marks his fifth state-level award.
