**Hyderabad, January 25, 2025** – The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory in anticipation of significant congestion during Republic Day celebrations on January 26th. Full dress rehearsals are currently underway at the RRC Ground Sports Complex in Secunderabad.

Road closures and diversions will be in effect from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM around the Parade Ground and Raj Bhavan. The stretch from Panjagutta to Secunderabad Parade Ground via Greenlands and Begumpet will be affected, along with the road from Tivoli Junction to Plaza Junction. Several major intersections, including Sangeeth, YMCA, Patny, and SBI X roads, will experience heavy congestion. Motorists are urged to avoid MG Road, RP Road, and SD Road during this time.

Train and bus passengers are advised to leave early to reach Secunderabad Railway Station and Jubilee Bus Station on time. Detailed diversion plans have been announced, directing traffic flow around affected areas. These diversions will be implemented dynamically based on traffic conditions.

Further traffic restrictions will be in place from 4 PM to 7 PM near Raj Bhavan due to the ‘At Home’ reception. Specific parking and entry/exit arrangements have been made for guests attending the event.
