**Bengaluru, January 26, 2025** – Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched a major educational infrastructure development project in Vijayapura, Karnataka on Saturday. The initiative aims to benefit over 2,500 rural school students by 2026.
The project will focus on upgrading six schools across the district over the next year. This includes the construction of 26 new, furnished classrooms, as well as new washrooms and fully-equipped kitchens to support midday meal programs.
Karnataka’s Minister for Industries, M.B. Patil, praised the initiative. Sudeep Dalvi, TKM’s Chief Communication Officer, stated that the project aligns with the company’s broader vision of creating sustainable communities by addressing educational disparities.
