Sat Jan 25 11:32:24 UTC 2025: ## Local Statistics Students Graduate from National Training Program
**Tiruchi, January 25, 2025** – Three final-year M.Sc. Statistics students from Bharathidasan University have completed a prestigious national training program in Official Statistics. G. Sandhiya, S. Bhavadharani, and A. Gladio Shylie were among 32 students selected nationwide for the program, held at the National Statistical System Training Academy in New Delhi from December 23-27, 2024.
The training, conducted under the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, covered a range of topics including the Indian statistical system, national accounts, and surveys conducted by the National Sample Survey Organisation. The students received instruction from leading experts in the field.
Upon their return, the students were felicitated by Bharathidasan University Vice-Chancellor M. Selvam and Registrar in-charge R. Kalidasan. As certified “Master Trainers,” they will now share their newly acquired knowledge with fellow students and researchers.
