Sat Jan 25 19:30:26 IST 2025: ## Woman Killed in Highway Accident Near Mysuru
**Mysuru, January 25, 2025** – A 55-year-old woman was killed instantly on Saturday morning when a goods vehicle struck her head as she leaned out of a KSRTC bus window. The incident occurred near Muddanahalli Gate on the Mysuru-Ooty highway.
The victim, identified as Shivalingamma from Alahalli in Gundlupet taluk, was fatally injured when the passing goods vehicle hit her head and arm. Police have seized the KSRTC bus and traced the goods vehicle involved. Shivalingamma’s body has been sent to K.R. Hospital for autopsy, and a police investigation is underway.
