NEW DELHI, January 25, 2025 – The Indian government announced the prestigious Padma Awards for 2025, coinciding with the nation’s 76th Republic Day. A total of 129 awards were bestowed, recognizing outstanding achievements in various fields. Seven individuals received the Padma Vibhushan, the highest civilian award, nineteen were conferred with the Padma Bhushan, and 103 were awarded the Padma Shri.
