**New Delhi** – The Indian government announced the prestigious Padma Awards 2025 on Republic Day. A total of 129 individuals have been selected for their exceptional contributions across various fields. Seven individuals will receive the Padma Vibhushan, 19 will be awarded the Padma Bhushan, and 113 will receive the Padma Shri.
Notable recipients include Dr. Duvvuri Nageshwar Reddy from Telangana, who was awarded the Padma Vibhushan for his contributions to medicine, and renowned Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna from Andhra Pradesh, who received the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to the arts.
The awards recognize outstanding achievements in all fields of activities, including art, literature, science, sports, medicine, social work and public affairs.
