**Hyderabad, January 25, 2025** – The Bollywood political thriller, “The Sabarmati Report,” starring Raashi Khanna, is now available for streaming in Telugu on Zee5. The film, which previously released in Hindi, premiered on the OTT platform on Friday.
Directed by Dheeraj Sharma, the movie is based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident, focusing on the media’s role in uncovering the truth behind the tragedy. While generating significant pre-release buzz, the film received mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office.
Raashi Khanna stars alongside Vikrant Massey and Riddhi Dogra. The film follows journalist Samar Kumar (Massey) as he investigates the Godhra incident, only to face obstruction from his news channel. His subsequent struggles and the role of Amrita Gill (Khanna) in his life form the crux of the narrative.
While the film’s overall reception was underwhelming, Vikrant Massey’s performance has drawn praise. The Sabarmati Report marks Raashi Khanna’s continued presence in Bollywood, following roles in “Yodha” and web series “Farzi” and “Rudra.” She is currently working on a Telugu film, “Telusu Kada,” alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
