**Guntur, January 25, 2025** – Hundreds of students from Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) in Guntur held a rally today to promote voter registration and participation in the upcoming elections, commemorating National Voters’ Day. The enthusiastic demonstration saw students from engineering and pharmacy colleges marching through the campus, chanting slogans emphasizing the importance of voting in a democratic society.
The rally, coordinated by faculty members P. Siddayya and A. Prameela Rani, highlighted the power of the vote in shaping the nation’s future and urged citizens to exercise their franchise responsibly. ANU’s interim Vice-Chancellor, Kancherla Gangadhara Rao, praised the students’ initiative, calling it an inspiring example of social responsibility and urging them to continue contributing to nation-building.
