HYDERABAD, INDIA – A shocking case of murder has emerged from Meerpet, Hyderabad, where a man, identified as Putta Gurumurthy, has been arrested for the brutal murder and dismemberment of his wife, Venkata Madhavi. Police say Gurumurthy confessed to killing Madhavi, 35, and disposing of her body parts in a nearby pond after allegedly being inspired by a web series.
Gurumurthy, a retired army personnel currently working as a security guard, had been having an extramarital affair.
