**Muzaffarpur, Bihar –** A horrific incident unfolded in Muzaffarpur, Bihar on Thursday, leaving one man dead after he was brutally murdered by his own brother and sister-in-law. Police have arrested the sister-in-law, Neetu Delhi, who confessed to the crime, and are currently searching for her husband.
The victim, identified as Sudhir Kumar, who was reportedly mentally challenged, had a prior altercation with his sister-in-law. The dispute, reportedly over land, escalated tragically. Neetu Delhi and her husband allegedly tied Sudhir Kumar to an electric pole, severely beat him, doused him in kerosene, and set him ablaze.
A watchman alerted the police, who arrived to find Sudhir Kumar’s body half-burnt. His remains have been sent for a post-mortem examination.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar of the Sakra police station area confirmed the arrest and ongoing investigation. He stated that the police are conducting raids to apprehend the victim’s brother. The motive appears to be a land dispute, though the full details are still under investigation.
