**Mysuru, January 25, 2025** – A two-day art exhibition showcasing the diverse talent of artist M. Akshatha Savithri opened at the Suchitra Art Gallery in Kalamandira, Mysuru, on Saturday. The exhibition, inaugurated by MLA T.S. Srivatsa, features a captivating range of painting styles.
Savithri’s journey, spanning over 15 years, is reflected in her work, which blends traditional techniques with a modern artistic sensibility. The exhibition includes paintings in the Mysuru and Thanjavur styles, Warli paintings, and Pattachitra scroll paintings from Odisha and West Bengal. Further showcasing her versatility, the collection also incorporates Madhubani, Gond, and Cheriyal styles, along with acrylic and knife paintings.
The exhibition offers a rich tapestry of Indian artistic heritage, demonstrating Savithri’s skill in capturing the essence of various traditional forms. The exhibition is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. until its close.
