Sat Jan 25 08:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Pakistan’s Noman Ali Makes History with First Ever Spin Bowling Test Hat-Trick
**MULTAN, PAKISTAN** – Pakistan’s off-spinner, Noman Ali, etched his name in cricketing history on Saturday, becoming the first ever spinner from his country to achieve a Test hat-trick. The 38-year-old bowled out Justin Greaves, Tevyn Imlach, and Kevin Sinclair in consecutive deliveries during the 12th over of the West Indies’ innings in the second Test match in Multan.
Prior to this momentous achievement, all previous Test hat-tricks for Pakistan were taken by fast bowlers. The feat surpasses previous milestones set by legendary fast bowlers such as Wasim Akram (who achieved two hat-tricks), Mohammad Sami, Abdul Razzaq, and Naseem Shah.
Pakistan won the first Test against the West Indies by 127 runs. The second Test, currently underway, is witnessing further exciting developments following Noman Ali’s historic feat. The first ever recorded Test hat-trick was achieved by Australia’s Frederick Robert Spofforth in 1878-79.
