**Bengaluru, January 25, 2025** – The three-day ‘International Trade Fair Organics and Millets 2025’ concluded in Bengaluru on Saturday, showcasing the booming millet industry. The fair, which featured over 330 stalls including international and private exhibitors, attracted 36 millet startups and 15 regional federations.

A wide array of millet-based products, from noodles and pasta to ice cream and yogurt, were on display. The event facilitated significant business-to-business (B2B) interaction, with 105 marketers/exporters and 194 manufacturers/producers participating in 185 meetings, generating an estimated market value of ₹185.41 crore. International representatives from countries including Germany, Switzerland, and Australia also participated.

A farmers’ workshop, organized in collaboration with the University of Agriculture Sciences, Bengaluru, provided valuable insights into organic and millet farming techniques. Experts addressed topics including best practices, market trends, and technological advancements.

Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy and MLA C.N. Ashwath Narayan presided over the closing ceremony. The fair served as a platform for knowledge sharing and business development within the organic and millet sectors, emphasizing the importance of traditional farming practices and soil health.
