**Indianapolis, IN –** A 23-year-old Indiana man, Douglas Thrams, is facing federal charges after allegedly posting multiple videos on TikTok threatening violence against the US government and specifically calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump. According to a criminal complaint filed Thursday, Thrams made the threats between Monday and Wednesday of this week.
In the videos, Thrams reportedly stated that “every US government building needs to be bombed immediately” and, referring to President Trump, used explicit language to advocate for his assassination, stating he needed to be killed and that this time, there should be no failure. One video allegedly showed Thrams holding a rifle.
The FBI arrested Thrams on Thursday, charging him with making interstate communications containing threats to injure. The arrest comes after two separate assassination attempts against President Trump last year, one of which resulted in an ear injury. The investigation is ongoing.
