**Rajkot, January 24:** Ravindra Jadeja marked his return to the Ranji Trophy with a stunning five-wicket haul, spearheading Saurashtra’s strong start against Delhi in their Group D clash at the Niranjan Shah Stadium on Thursday. The veteran all-rounder claimed his 16th first-class five-for, finishing with impressive figures of 5/66 as he bowled Delhi out for a paltry 188.

Jadeja’s victims included key Delhi batsmen Yash Dhull (44) and Ayush Badoni (60), along with tailenders Harsh Tyagi and Navdeep Saini. He also dismissed Sanat Sangwan early in the innings. Further bolstering Saurashtra’s bowling attack, Dharmendrasinh Jadeja contributed three wickets, notably dismissing Rishabh Pant for just 1 run.

Jadeja’s all-round prowess was on full display, having also scored 40 runs in the match. This performance marks a triumphant return after a two-year absence from the tournament, with his last appearance in January 2023 against Tamil Nadu.
