**Paramount+ releases a spine-tingling trailer for the second season of its hit supernatural teen drama, *School Spirits*.**
LOS ANGELES – Fans of the critically acclaimed *School Spirits* got their first glimpse of the upcoming season with a new trailer released on January 21st. The trailer, narrated by star Peyton List (Maddie Nears), promises more mystery, horror, and supernatural intrigue as Maddie grapples with her existence between the real world and the afterlife, questioning whether she’s even dead.
The show, created by Megan and Nate Trinrud, follows Maddie, a high school student trapped in a ghostly realm alongside other spirits at Split River High. Season one saw Maddie investigating her own possible murder and piecing together lost memories. The series received overwhelmingly positive reviews, boasting an 83% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 90% audience score.
Season two will introduce a new cast of characters, including Jess Gabor, Zack Calderon, Miles Elliot, and Ci Hang Ma, alongside returning stars Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, and Nick Pugliese.
The unconventional path to the show’s creation is notable. Initially conceived as a TV show, it became a graphic novel deal with Harper Collins Publishing before returning to television production with AwesomenessTV. The graphic novel is set to release on September 9th.
