**JALANDHAR, INDIA** – The 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was commemorated Thursday at BD Arya Girls’ College in Jalandhar with a special event hosted by the National Martyrs’ Memorial Committee. The event paid tribute to the iconic freedom fighter, drawing a distinguished gathering including Brig SK Saul, Station Commander of Jalandhar Cantt, and several other dignitaries and members of Indian National Army (INA) families.

The program featured addresses highlighting Netaji’s unwavering commitment to India’s independence and the formation of the INA. Speakers emphasized the importance of preserving his ideals of nationalism and selfless service. A key highlight was the felicitation of INA families, recognizing their legacy of bravery and sacrifice. Students added to the poignant tribute with patriotic poems and speeches, while prize winners of poster-making and essay writing competitions were also honored.

Brig Saul, in his address, urged the youth to emulate Netaji’s ideals of nationalism and self-discipline.
