**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa: The Rule* continues its box office dominance, defying competition from recent releases. Forty-nine days after its December 5th premiere, the film is nearing its two-month theatrical run, still showing in approximately 1000 screens across India. Despite the arrival of new films like *Game Changer*, *Baby John*, *Azaad*, and *Emergency*, *Pushpa 2* maintains strong viewership.
The film added approximately ₹1.5 crore on its seventh Sunday, followed by ₹65 lakh each on Monday and Tuesday, and ₹50 lakh on Wednesday, bringing its India net total to a staggering ₹1230.05 crore, according to Sacnilk estimates. Even on Wednesday, *Pushpa 2* boasted a 9.22% occupancy, with over 300 shows in Mumbai and Delhi alone. The film’s success is particularly notable in the Hindi belt.
The sustained success indicates that newer releases like *Game Changer* and *Baby John* have failed to dent *Pushpa 2*’s popularity. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, previously crossed ₹1831 crore worldwide within its first 32 days. Producers have confirmed plans for a third installment in the franchise.
