**Bengaluru, January 24, 2025** – A 55-year-old businessman, Manjunath T.C., died Thursday night after jumping from the second floor of Mantri Mall in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Witnesses reported seeing him climb over the railings before falling to the ground. Security guards immediately transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police identified the deceased as a resident of Ullal Upanagar, originally from Tiptur in Tumakuru district. CCTV footage indicates he entered the mall and proceeded directly to the second floor before committing the act. A suicide note found on his person blamed his death on significant financial difficulties. Preliminary investigations suggest he was burdened by approximately ₹2 crore in debt.
