Thu Jan 23 16:56:47 UTC 2025: ## Bengaluru Space Startup GalaxEye Achieves Global First in Satellite Technology

**Bengaluru, January 24, 2025** – Indian space startup GalaxEye announced a major breakthrough in remote sensing technology. Their GLX-SQ payload, deployed aboard ISRO’s PSLV Orbital Experimental Module (POEM) on December 30th, 2024, successfully integrated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and optical imagery in orbit – a world first.

This fusion allows for enhanced data collection and analysis across various sectors. The payload can process and compress large amounts of data, converting analog signals to digital in under 10 minutes, providing real-time solutions for defense, agriculture, and disaster response.

GalaxEye CEO Suyash Singh hailed the achievement as a new benchmark for earth observation, highlighting the speed and actionable insights provided. The company is already preparing for its next mission, “Mission Drishti,” which will launch a multi-sensor satellite offering all-weather, high-resolution imaging. This further solidifies GalaxEye’s position as a leader in innovative space-based solutions.
