The film, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, has not only captivated audiences but also shattered box office records, becoming India’s highest-grossing film with worldwide earnings exceeding ₹1800 crore.
Production house Mythri Movie Makers announced the milestone on X, highlighting the film’s impact on Indian cinema. The success follows the release of a “reloaded” version on January 17, featuring 20 minutes of additional footage. This extended cut contributed to the film’s continued success, solidifying its position as the biggest film of 2024.
*Pushpa 2: The Rule*, the second installment in a three-part series, tells the story of Pushpa Raj’s rise to power within a red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The movie was initially released on December 5, 2024. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings produced the film, with music by T-Series.
