**Kozhikode, Kerala:** Experienced journalist Nishad Ameen has joined the Times of India Group as a content producer for its Malayalam publication. Ameen, who boasts 16 years of experience in the media industry, brings a diverse background to his new role.
He holds a degree in Mass Communication from Calicut University, a PG Diploma in Television Journalism from Calicut Press Club, and a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Ameen spent seven years working as a journalist in Saudi Arabia, where he also served as the General Secretary of the Indian Media Forum. His career includes senior positions as sub-editor at Suprabhatham, Malayala Manorama News, and Thejas daily newspapers, as well as Gulf News editor and senior reporter. He has worked across various bureaus and editorial desks in Kerala, the Gulf region, and international locations including New Delhi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and the UAE.
