Wed Jan 22 07:30:00 IST 2025: ## Ayodhya Marks First Anniversary of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha with Celebrations
**Ayodhya, India** – The first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was commemorated with a series of events on January 22nd. A prominent event was an Ashtayam (eight-day religious observance) organized by the Shri Shri Ram Navami Shobhayatra Abhinandan Samiti at Minister Nitin Navin’s official residence. The event was attended by dignitaries including Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, MPs Ravishankar Prasad, and numerous ministers and officials.
Simultaneously, special prayers and pujas were conducted at the Panchrūpi Hanuman Temple in Rajvanshinagar by Acharyas (religious teachers) who had traveled from Ayodhya. The Ram Lalla temple was adorned with special flowers in celebration of the anniversary. Rajiv Ranjan, chairman of the temple trust, performed pujas and ahavan (fire ritual) during the Pratishtha puja. The evening concluded with the distribution of Halwa Prasad (sweet offering) among devotees. Numerous other officials and dignitaries were in attendance.
