**Davos, Switzerland –** Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on January 21st, 2025, outlining his vision for the state’s green industrialization and India’s future as a global economic leader.

Naidu, highlighting his long-standing relationship with CII, showcased Andhra Pradesh’s transformation, citing Hyderabad’s growth as a global hub for IT and healthcare as a prime example. He expressed confidence in India’s potential, echoing Bloomberg’s prediction of significant GDP growth and asserting India’s dominance by 2028. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of leveraging technology, particularly AI and real-time data, to solve problems and improve lives. He also highlighted the Global Leadership Centre (GLC) in Amaravati, announcing a letter of intent with IMD Business School, Switzerland, to enhance global competitiveness and leadership development.

Naidu championed India’s commitment to sustainable practices, including natural and organic farming, and advocated for a “P4 model”—public-private-people partnership—to foster inclusive governance. He urged corporate leaders to address poverty and inequality, acknowledging the guidance of Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran in the Swarnandhra 2047 economic development initiative.

Specifically addressing Andhra Pradesh’s green initiatives, Naidu announced a massive $115 billion investment in the fuel sector to generate 500 MW of renewable energy and 500 million metric tons of green energy by 2030, aiming for a 30% contribution to national targets. He mentioned the recent foundation stone laying for a $21 billion green hydrogen project and Reliance’s ₹65,000 crore investment in biofuel initiatives. Naidu highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s ambition to become a global clean energy hub, leveraging its port infrastructure for exporting green energy products.

Reflecting on his past reforms, Naidu recounted introducing bold power sector reforms in 1999, ultimately leading to significant advancements in solar and wind energy and reduced energy costs. His ten guiding principles for Vision 2047 focus on cost optimization, environmental balance, and establishing Andhra Pradesh as a global leader in green hydrogen and fuel markets.
