**Mumbai, India –** Aman Jaiswal, a 23-year-old actor known for his role in the television series *Dhartiputra Nandini*, died Friday in a road accident in Mumbai’s Jogeshwari West area. Police reported that Jaiswal was riding his motorcycle on Hill Park Road around 3:15 PM when he was struck by a truck. He was rushed to a hospital’s trauma ward but succumbed to his injuries.
The truck driver was apprehended, and the vehicle seized. An investigation is underway, and a case has been registered at the Amboli police station.
Jaiswal, who also appeared in *Punyashlok Ahilyabai* and *Udaariyaan*, had a significant social media presence with nearly 70,000 Instagram followers. He was also a singer and a self-proclaimed fan of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, often sharing dance videos to Khan’s songs on Instagram. In a 2023 interview with The Times of India, Jaiswal revealed that his acting career was inspired by watching Shah Rukh Khan in *Kal Ho Naa Ho*, a film in which Khan’s character shares Jaiswal’s name.
Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala, Jaiswal’s co-actor and producer on *Dhartiputra Nandini*, expressed her shock and grief on Saturday, offering condolences to his family. His untimely death is mourned by fans and colleagues alike.
