**VIZIANAGARAM, Andhra Pradesh (January 22, 2025)** – Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha lauded the progress of the Bhogapuram international airport as evidence of the NDA government’s commitment to Vizianagaram district’s development. Speaking at a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general body meeting on Tuesday, she contrasted this progress with the alleged neglect of the district under the previous YSRCP government.

Minister Anitha claimed the YSRCP administration failed to attract new industries despite the district’s abundant resources. She credited the TDP’s dedicated leaders and activists for the party’s recent electoral success in the region. Several TDP legislators pledged to further strengthen the party’s position and secure victory in upcoming local body elections. The meeting was also attended by Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas and TDP parliamentary wing president Kimidi Nagarjuna.
