**New Delhi, January 16, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful docking of two satellites in space, a significant milestone for India’s space program. The Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX), involving satellites SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target), launched on December 30, 2024, was completed successfully under the supervision of ISRO’s Mission Operations Complex.

This achievement marks a crucial step towards future ambitious missions, including the establishment of the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (Indian Space Station). The SpaDeX mission, described by ISRO as a cost-effective technology demonstrator, utilized two small spacecraft launched by PSLV C60.
