**Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, January 21, 2025** – A 33-year-old welder, Selvakumar (alias Sakthi), ended his life on Monday evening in Kattanachampatti near Rasipuram, allegedly due to mounting pressure from creditors. Police found a suicide note mentioning the names of individuals who were demanding loan repayments and interest.
Sakthi, who ran a welding workshop, left his workplace on Monday afternoon and did not return home. His wife, Divya, discovered his body upon returning from a relative’s house. Rasipuram police have registered a case and are investigating the matter based on the recovered suicide note.
