**Colombo, Sri Lanka – January 21, 2025** – India has won the PD Champions Trophy 2025, defeating England by a commanding 79 runs in the final match held today. The tournament, which began on February 19th, saw participation from four teams: India, England, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
India dominated the league stage, winning five out of six matches, with their only loss coming against England. Their impressive run included a victory over Pakistan in both the league stage and a repeat performance in the final. Yogendra Singh Badouriya played a pivotal role in the final, scoring a crucial 73 runs off 40 balls. Majid Magare also contributed significantly with 33 runs off 19 balls.
