Tue Jan 21 09:37:20 UTC 2025: ## Adani Family Attends Maha Kumbh Mela, Participates in Religious Events and Charitable Initiatives

**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India** – Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, along with his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Tuesday. The family participated in several religious ceremonies, including offering prayers at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers.

Mr. Adani also visited the ISKCON camp at the Kumbh Mela and assisted in preparing Mahaprasad, sacred meals distributed to devotees. This is part of a larger collaboration between the Adani Group and ISKCON to provide nearly 100,000 meals daily throughout the Kumbh Mela, which runs until February 26th.

Furthermore, the Adani Group has partnered with Gita Press to distribute one crore (10 million) free copies of the “Aarti Sangraha” to pilgrims. Mr. Adani described the Maha Kumbh Mela as a “great yagna (sacrifice) of Indian culture and religious faith” and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the event. He praised the organization and management of the Kumbh Mela, calling it a subject worthy of study for management institutes.

Mr. Adani concluded his remarks by expressing his admiration for the selfless service demonstrated at the event, stating that “Seva is meditation, seva is prayer and seva is God.”
