**Namakkal, January 22, 2025** – A house in Muthukalipatti near Rasipuram, Namakkal district, was burglarized on Monday, resulting in the theft of 20 sovereigns of gold jewelry. The victim, Gomathi (48), a cashier at the Vennandur Handloom Society, discovered the theft upon returning home from work and finding her front door ajar.
Rasipuram police are investigating the incident. Forensic experts have collected fingerprints from the scene, and investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the area. A case has been registered, and a search for the culprits is underway.
