**Belagavi, Karnataka –** Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday accused the BJP of being “anti-Constitution” and systematically working to dismantle the principles of equality and social justice enshrined in the Indian Constitution. Speaking at the “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan” rally in Belagavi, commemorating the centenary of the 1924 Belgaum session of the Indian National Congress, Gandhi criticized the BJP’s alleged weakening of institutions like the judiciary, the RTI Act, and the Election Commission. She further alleged that the BJP’s policies have harmed farmers, workers, and women, citing the controversial farm laws and changes to labor regulations. Gandhi emphasized the importance of the Constitution as a protector of citizens’ rights and urged the public to actively defend it. She also condemned statements by some BJP leaders questioning India’s independence in 1947, calling it an insult to freedom fighters and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. The rally was part of the Congress’s Gandhi Bharata centenary celebrations.
