**ANN ARBOR, MI/SAGINAW, MI** – Numerous school districts in both Washtenaw and Mid-Michigan counties closed or delayed classes this week due to severe weather conditions. In Washtenaw County, icy roads, particularly on unpaved routes, and dense fog caused several schools to shut their doors on Tuesday, January 17th. Meanwhile, following a heavy snowfall on Sunday, January 13th, and with icy conditions predicted, a large number of schools in the Saginaw and Bay City areas, including Saginaw Public Schools and Bay City Public Schools, closed or delayed their openings on Monday, January 13th.
