**Prayagraj, India –** The Centre’s ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) initiative is taking center stage at the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, showcasing the diverse handicrafts of India. A wide array of goods, including carpets, Firozabad’s renowned glass toys, Varanasi’s exquisite wooden toys, and other handcrafted items, are attracting significant attention from devotees. The initiative aims to boost the country’s cottage industries and generate substantial revenue.

Adding to the entrepreneurial opportunities, e-commerce giant Flipkart has established a stall at the Mahakumbh, offering free platform access to vendors. This initiative is expected to significantly expand the reach of local artisans.

Joint Commissioner of Industries for the Prayagraj Division, Sharad Tandon, projects a substantial increase in business this year.
