**New Delhi, India** – Javelin thrower and Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra surprised fans this week by announcing his secret marriage to Himani Mor. The news broke Sunday, January 19th, when Chopra shared photos of his wedding on social media.

Little is known about the newlywed, Himani Mor, who is currently studying sports management at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. Previously, she graduated from Miranda House, Delhi University, with a degree in Political Science and Physical Education. Mor is also a former assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University and a former athlete herself, having played tennis and representing India in the World University Tennis Games in 2017. She also attended Southeastern Louisiana University.

Chopra’s uncle, Bheem, confirmed the marriage, which took place in India (the exact location undisclosed), and revealed the couple has already left for their honeymoon.

Chopra, known as India’s “Golden Boy,” has achieved remarkable success in athletics, winning gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
