Mon Jan 20 12:28:56 UTC 2025: ## Masked Men Rob Kerala Businessman’s Car Near Mysuru
**Mysuru, Karnataka, January 20, 2025** – A group of masked men robbed a Kerala-based businessman’s SUV on the outskirts of Mysuru on Friday night. Police say the assailants, arriving in two vehicles, ambushed the businessman and his companions on the Mysuru-Mananthavadi road near Harohalli. A viral video shows the men forcibly removing a victim from the vehicle before fleeing with the SUV and their own cars.
The victims, including a businessman identified only as Sufi, were returning to Kerala when the incident occurred. They reported the crime to the Jayapura police, who have registered a case.
Mysuru Superintendent of Police Vishnuvardhan visited the crime scene and initiated an investigation. He has contacted neighboring Kerala districts’ police to set up roadblocks to apprehend the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
